What is an exercise program?

All training programs are aimed at the individual who is either looking to sharpen their sporting performance, or to improve their general health and fitness. Exercises are uniquely prescribed in an exercise program designed to meet the individual’s goals - to be become stronger, faster, more flexible or simply healthier through an informed and structured question and answer process. Mark ensures that each and every client’s program is developed using the right exercise principles that correlate to the individual’s needs, their exercise capacity and growth potential.

Membership

  Your membership fees provide for ongoing support, which comes from Mark directly with support from his hand picked extended team of highly qualified and experienced personal trainers. You are able to swap between the respective membership levels to access the degree of support and

guidance you need to push you to the next level in your journey.

7 processes of exercise programming

 

Basic summary of what's included:

1:Guided discovery

This is the individualisation of your program and  includes getting to know you, this is never ending throughout your time with us

​

2: Analysing information

This will include analysis of your health (medical conditions), injuries and any risk factors that need to be addressed.

​

3: Motivation

This is Mark’s specialty area, demonstrated by his NRL achievements. Mark will work with you to keep you motivated to a sustained level – in essence becoming your training partner. Mark and team will help with tools to keep you on track.

​

4: Assessments

Physical and Fitness assessments are completed.  These assessment gives Mark and his team all the information needed to customise the exercise program.

​

5: Analysing assessments

This is where Mark finds the truth on where you are with your health and fitness and a true indication of you status. Mark & team need to know where you are at for many reasons.  Starting points may include proper exercise, intensity frequency type and time of exercise that can be implemented, show continual progression, motivation and much more

​

6: Program design

Using the 7-Principles of fitness (The Laws of FITNESS), the MMISS team will develop programs that optimise your performance and surpass your stated goals. To ensure that your development does not plateau, your progress will be assessed at certain stages to revise your exercise program so that it continues to grow and develop at a rate commensurate with your personal development.

7: Re-assessment

As you continue to  improve, your program may no longer be the best fit.  This is where we revise your progress and apply changes to the program
